Absolutely pampered start to end. Dog friendly also and that won my heart . The most amazing spoilt for choice menu , over and beyond in taste, service and presentation. One of the best restaurants I have been to anywhere in the world. I wish I can come back soon to go through the rest of the wonderful menu. Thank you from London and Madagascar . We stumbled across Francine’s after not booking into another venue as they were fully booked, so we decided to try Francine’s and my goodness are we glad we did! The food was truly incredible, every mouthful delivered a punch of flavour. The food all cooked freshly to order and you can see the effort put into each dish including its presentation. Located just off the Main Street being a fairly small venue you might walk past and not realise it being there but we are glad we did! A lovely venue and attentive and friendly staff. Recommend

Came to windermere for a one night stay over and ate at Francis's it was absolutely amazing the whole experience was just brilliant and at the end of the night we were brought two little chocolates which were on a little Beatrix Potter dish and the dish reminded me of me and my three boys and I asked Francine where she had purchased it she said you can have this one which was such a lovely thing to do. Next time in windermere will definitely be back to visit this amazing restaurant. Thankyou Francine xxx We had to eat. We had fantastic weather so had lots of good walking during the day. Luckily we were able to eat here 4 nights in a row. Food was delicious and the staff friendly and professional. A good relaxed vibe. Definitely recommend it.

We wish we could give 6 stars! Everything was flawless from start to finish. Exceptional service like this is rare to find these days – thank you, Ryan and Stefan! Every dish was cooked to perfection, with the scallops and octopus being standout recommendations. The complimentary canapes and homemade truffles were a delightful and sophisticated touch. If you’re in the area, dining here is an absolute must!

The food was incredible! The staff were polite and friendly, the atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect. Would highly recommend, this was the best meal of our trip to Windermere. Will definitely be returning one day!

The best meal I have ever had! I had pig on a plate. The colours, the presentation, the flavours.... I cannot express how beautiful it was. Definitely be back again as soon as possible. We met the owner Francine and she was our host and she was lovely, nothing was too much for her. Relaxed atmosphere very quick service and excellent value for money.

Had an incredible dinner here at francines! Every course was amazing and the service was fantastic. I would recommend booking in advance as this place is (understandably) in high demand.
